How daylight saving time changes the markets for Brazilians
Brasília has not observed daylight saving time since 2019, so its clock never moves. The United States and Europe still change their clocks twice a year, and every exchange keeps its own local hours. The result is that the same NYSE session appears in Brasília time one hour earlier in US summer time than in winter, and B3 shifts its closing time to follow the US change.

The two regions do not change on the same day, so for 7 days London and New York are 4 hours apart instead of 5, which moves the overlaps in the table above. Tokyo has no daylight saving time, so its session never moves in Brasília time.
