It is 14:38 on Friday, October 2, 2026 in Tahiti, French Polynesia. The city runs on UTC-10, which puts it 7 hours behind Brasília.
Time zone and UTC offset in Tahiti
Tahiti follows the Pacific/Tahiti time zone (this zone has no widely used letter abbreviation). Right now its offset from Coordinated Universal Time is UTC-10.
Tahiti does not observe daylight saving time and no clock change is scheduled for the next year. Its offset stays at UTC-10 all year round. Brazil abolished daylight saving time in 2019, so the gap between the two stays fixed at 7 hours. That makes scheduling predictable: a meeting booked for any date of the year at a given Brasília time always lands at the same local time in Tahiti.
Time difference between Brasília and Tahiti
To convert, take Brasília time and subtract 7 hours; early in the morning in Brasília it may still be the previous day in Tahiti. The table uses today's offsets.
Going the other way, local noon in Tahiti is 19:00 in Brasília, and local midnight is 07:00 in Brasília. Because Tahiti is behind, its calendar date is still the previous day in the first 7 hours after midnight in Brasília (until 07:00). Keep this in mind for deadlines, flights and anything scheduled around the start or end of a day.
