It is 12:36 on Saturday, October 3, 2026 in Nauru, Nauru. The city runs on UTC+12, which puts it 15 hours ahead of Brasília.
Time zone and UTC offset in Nauru
Nauru follows the Pacific/Nauru time zone (this zone has no widely used letter abbreviation). Right now its offset from Coordinated Universal Time is UTC+12.
Nauru does not observe daylight saving time and no clock change is scheduled for the next year. Its offset stays at UTC+12 all year round. Brazil abolished daylight saving time in 2019, so the gap between the two stays fixed at 15 hours. That makes scheduling predictable: a meeting booked for any date of the year at a given Brasília time always lands at the same local time in Nauru.
Time difference between Brasília and Nauru
To convert, take Brasília time and add 15 hours; when the sum passes midnight, the date in Nauru is already the next day. The table uses today's offsets.
Going the other way, local noon in Nauru is 21:00 (previous day) in Brasília, and local midnight is 09:00 (previous day) in Brasília. Because Nauru is ahead, its calendar date is one day later than in Brasília from 09:00 until midnight Brasília time. Keep this in mind for deadlines, flights and anything scheduled around the start or end of a day.
