Time zone and UTC offset in Funafuti
Funafuti follows the Pacific/Funafuti time zone (this zone has no widely used letter abbreviation). Right now its offset from Coordinated Universal Time is UTC+12.
Funafuti does not observe daylight saving time and no clock change is scheduled for the next year. Its offset stays at UTC+12 all year round. Brazil abolished daylight saving time in 2019, so the gap between the two stays fixed at 15 hours. That makes scheduling predictable: a meeting booked for any date of the year at a given Brasília time always lands at the same local time in Funafuti.
Time difference between Brasília and Funafuti
To convert, take Brasília time and add 15 hours; when the sum passes midnight, the date in Funafuti is already the next day. The table uses today's offsets.
Going the other way, local noon in Funafuti is 21:00 (previous day) in Brasília, and local midnight is 09:00 (previous day) in Brasília.
