It is 02:35 on Saturday, October 3, 2026 in Harare, Zimbabwe. The city runs on UTC+2 (CAT), which puts it 5 hours ahead of Brasília.
Time zone and UTC offset in Harare
Harare follows the Africa/Harare time zone, abbreviated CAT. Right now its offset from Coordinated Universal Time is UTC+2.
Harare does not observe daylight saving time and no clock change is scheduled for the next year. Its offset stays at UTC+2 all year round. Brazil abolished daylight saving time in 2019, so the gap between the two stays fixed at 5 hours. That makes scheduling predictable: a meeting booked for any date of the year at a given Brasília time always lands at the same local time in Harare.
Time difference between Brasília and Harare
To convert, take Brasília time and add 5 hours; when the sum passes midnight, the date in Harare is already the next day. The table uses today's offsets.
Going the other way, local noon in Harare is 07:00 in Brasília, and local midnight is 19:00 (previous day) in Brasília. Because Harare is ahead, its calendar date is one day later than in Brasília from 19:00 until midnight Brasília time. Keep this in mind for deadlines, flights and anything scheduled around the start or end of a day.
