Time zone and UTC offset in Blantyre
Blantyre follows the Africa/Blantyre time zone, abbreviated CAT. Right now its offset from Coordinated Universal Time is UTC+2.
Blantyre does not observe daylight saving time and no clock change is scheduled for the next year. Its offset stays at UTC+2 all year round. Brazil abolished daylight saving time in 2019, so the gap between the two stays fixed at 5 hours. That makes scheduling predictable: a meeting booked for any date of the year at a given Brasília time always lands at the same local time in Blantyre.
