It is 06:36 on Saturday, October 3, 2026 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The city runs on UTC+6, which puts it 9 hours ahead of Brasília.
Time zone and UTC offset in Dhaka
Dhaka follows the Asia/Dhaka time zone (this zone has no widely used letter abbreviation). Right now its offset from Coordinated Universal Time is UTC+6.
Dhaka does not observe daylight saving time and no clock change is scheduled for the next year. Its offset stays at UTC+6 all year round. Brazil abolished daylight saving time in 2019, so the gap between the two stays fixed at 9 hours. That makes scheduling predictable: a meeting booked for any date of the year at a given Brasília time always lands at the same local time in Dhaka.
Time difference between Brasília and Dhaka
To convert, take Brasília time and add 9 hours; when the sum passes midnight, the date in Dhaka is already the next day. The table uses today's offsets.
Going the other way, local noon in Dhaka is 03:00 in Brasília, and local midnight is 15:00 (previous day) in Brasília. Because Dhaka is ahead, its calendar date is one day later than in Brasília from 15:00 until midnight Brasília time. Keep this in mind for deadlines, flights and anything scheduled around the start or end of a day.

Best time to call Dhaka from Brazil
With a difference of 9 hours, the 9:00 to 18:00 working days do not overlap at all. The least inconvenient slot is around 08:00 in Brasília, which is 17:00 in Dhaka: one side will be early or late, so agree in writing who takes the awkward hour. Messages and recorded updates work better than live calls here.
For several cities at once, use the meeting planner, or convert any hour with the time zone converter.
