It is 18:38 on Friday, October 2, 2026 in Chihuahua, Mexico. The city runs on UTC-6 (CST), which puts it 3 hours behind Brasília.
Time zone and UTC offset in Chihuahua
Chihuahua follows the America/Chihuahua time zone, abbreviated CST. Right now its offset from Coordinated Universal Time is UTC-6.
Chihuahua does not observe daylight saving time and no clock change is scheduled for the next year. Its offset stays at UTC-6 all year round. Brazil abolished daylight saving time in 2019, so the gap between the two stays fixed at 3 hours. That makes scheduling predictable: a meeting booked for any date of the year at a given Brasília time always lands at the same local time in Chihuahua.

To convert, take Brasília time and subtract 3 hours; early in the morning in Brasília it may still be the previous day in Chihuahua. The table uses today's offsets.

Because Chihuahua is behind, its calendar date is still the previous day in the first 3 hours after midnight in Brasília (until 03:00).
