It is 03:34 on Saturday, October 3, 2026 in Asmara, Eritrea. The city runs on UTC+3 (EAT), which puts it 6 hours ahead of Brasília.
Time zone and UTC offset in Asmara
Asmara follows the Africa/Asmara time zone, abbreviated EAT. Right now its offset from Coordinated Universal Time is UTC+3.
Asmara does not observe daylight saving time and no clock change is scheduled for the next year. Its offset stays at UTC+3 all year round. Brazil abolished daylight saving time in 2019, so the gap between the two stays fixed at 6 hours. That makes scheduling predictable: a meeting booked for any date of the year at a given Brasília time always lands at the same local time in Asmara.
