Time zone and UTC offset in Chatham
Chatham follows the Pacific/Chatham time zone (this zone has no widely used letter abbreviation). Right now its offset from Coordinated Universal Time is UTC+13:45. Note the 45-minute fraction: unlike most of the world, this zone is not set on a whole hour, so the difference from Brasília is not a round number of hours either.
Daylight saving time is in effect at the moment, which means local clocks run ahead of standard time. The next change comes on Sunday, April 4, 2027 at 03:45: clocks go back 1 hour, so at 03:45 the clock goes back to 02:45 and the offset becomes UTC+12:45. From that day the difference from Brasília is 15 hours 45 minutes ahead. The change after that is on Sunday, September 26, 2027 at 02:45.
