Bermuda is on the same time as Brasília right now. When it is 12:00 in Brasília, it is 12:00 in Bermuda. This gap is not fixed: it moves with daylight saving time.
How many hours apart today
Right now Bermuda and Brasília show exactly the same time. Brazil's official time (UTC-3) matches the local time in Bermuda (UTC-3), so there is nothing to add or subtract: when it is 12:00 in Brasília, it is 12:00 in Bermuda.
Daylight saving time: does the gap change?
Yes. Bermuda changes its clocks, so the difference has two values: -1 hour on standard time and no difference on daylight saving time (+ means ahead of Brasília, - behind). Daylight saving time starts in March and ends in November. Today there is no gap. The next change is on Sunday, November 1, 2026 at 02:00 (clocks go back 1 hour), and from that day the difference with Brasília moves by one hour.
Brazil, for its part, has had no daylight saving time since 2019 and stays on UTC-3 all year, so every change comes from the Bermuda side. See the daylight saving time guide for dates by country.

Best times to call or hold a meeting
Assuming 9:00-18:00 office hours on both sides, the shared window runs from 09:00 to 18:00 Brasília time (09:00 to 18:00 in Bermuda), about 9 hours of overlap.
From Brazil, when it is 09:00 in Brasília, it is 09:00 in Bermuda (within office hours); at 12:00 it is 12:00 (within office hours); and at 18:00 it is 18:00 (within office hours).
In the other direction, a call made in Bermuda at 9:00 reaches Brasília at 09:00 (within office hours); at 12:00 it is 12:00 there (within office hours); and at 18:00, 18:00 (within office hours).
The same arithmetic helps with flights, whose departure and arrival times on tickets are always in the local time of each airport, and with live broadcasts announced in another time zone. Always convert the announced time before you plan. The meeting planner compares both clocks hour by hour.
